From Silicon Valley to the Deserts of Arizona —Hippo Migrates Southwest

Despite its reputation for enjoying the water holes, you might find a Hippo or two in the desert after today. We’re officially announcing the launch of our second market, Arizona!

Since our initial California launch back in April, we have been rapidly scaling our operations to meet demand. Hippo has big plans—nationwide, in fact—and we are beginning that journey with our expansion into the southwest.

We are excited to introduce our streamlined 60-second quote process, super savings (up to 25 percent compared to industry prices), and robust customer service to our friends in the Grand Canyon state. We are dedicated to reinventing the home insurance process for all homeowners, from across California to the metropolitan cityscape of Phoenix and the saguaro-filled beauty of Tucson.

With over 60 percent homeowner-occupancy rate and almost 3 million housing units as of July 2016, Arizona is a bustling and exciting place to live. We are honored to help the people of Arizona to insure their homes more quickly and easily than ever before. In fact, did you know that Glendale was named the best place to buy a second home in the West in our recent study?

But don’t just take our word for it—see for yourself how Hippo makes it easier than ever to insure the things that matter the most. Learn more about Arizona home insurance with our guide.
